![]() Great news for our local library supporters! Friends of the Cherokee County Public Libraries (FCCPL) has been awarded a generous $1,000 donation from the Operation Round-Up board, thanks to the contributions of Amicalola EMC members. What is Operation Round-Up? Operation Round-Up is a charitable initiative by Amicalola EMC that allows members to round up their monthly electric bills to the nearest dollar, with the extra cents going directly into a fund to support local nonprofits and individuals in need. Since its inception in 1999, this program has raised over $2.3 million to benefit the community. How Will This Grant Benefit the Library? The $1,000 grant will be used to support FCCPL’s mission to enhance library services, fund special programs, and provide additional resources for the community. Whether it’s expanding educational opportunities, improving technology, or organizing engaging events, this funding will help enrich the lives of Cherokee County residents. A Big Thank You to Our Community We are incredibly grateful to Operation Round-Up and the Amicalola EMC members who contribute to this initiative.
