Volunteer Opportunities Our Live Sales are staffed entirely by volunteers, and we need your help to keep them running smoothly. The bookstore at the Woodstock Library is open to the public whenever the library is open, operating on an honor system and stocked weekly by our team. However, during our Live Sales, we offer a wider selection of books, puzzles, movies, and games, many of which are not available at other times. These sales take place on the second Friday and Saturday of each month and are a great way to support the library and meet fellow book lovers. Volunteers help stock shelves, assist shoppers, and keep everything organized. Even just a two-hour shift makes a big difference. Sign up here: Volunteer for the February Book Sale We appreciate your help in making these events a success. Feel free to spread the word to friends, family, and fellow book lovers. We Accept Donations We are always accepting books, movies, puzzles, and games that you no longer need. Donations can be brought in during the Live Sale or on Tuesdays and Thursdays when the Woodstock Library accepts donations on our behalf. Donation guidelines:

Friends of the Cherokee County Public Libraries (FCCPL) has been awarded a generous $1,000 donation from the Operation Round-Up board, thanks to the contributions of Amicalola EMC members. What is Operation Round-Up? Operation Round-Up is a charitable initiative by Amicalola EMC that allows members to round up their monthly electric bills to the nearest dollar, with the extra cents going directly into a fund to support local nonprofits and individuals in need. Since its inception in 1999, this program has raised over $2.3 million to benefit the community. How Will This Grant Benefit the Library? The $1,000 grant will be used to support FCCPL’s mission to enhance library services, fund special programs, and provide additional resources for the community. Whether it’s expanding educational opportunities, improving technology, or organizing engaging events, this funding will help enrich the lives of Cherokee County residents. A Big Thank You to Our Community We are incredibly grateful to Operation Round-Up and the Amicalola EMC members who contribute to this initiative. Your small monthly contributions add up to make a big difference in our community, ensuring that organizations like FCCPL can continue to provide valuable services. Want to Get Involved?
